You will find a detailed sketch in PowerPoint format for you to user as a start point: Homepage Sketch - V 1.5
Content in sketch (text, box, etc.) is mandatory. However, you as the designer is free to choose graphics, colors, fonts, position of elements, etc.
The sketch available in this contest shows the elements we need on our final homepage: Homepage Sketch - v 1.5.1
So the designer doesn't need to work too much before confirming if we like his/her style or not, a first entry with just the upper part of the sketch is acceptable. As we enter the final stages of the contest, we will then ask the preferred participants to provide design for the entire page / all the content.
Please use the attached sketch as a start-point for your design. Logo files and sample graphics available as well. The only mandatory graphic is our logo file. All other graphics you find in the "Graphics Files.zip" package are just samples. Designers are free to choose and suggest other graphics for our design.
We will be happy to buy images, graphics and icons used by the winning designer as long as they are available for purchase at a major image vendor such as gettyimage, 99designs.com or istockphoto.com (prices should be reasonable).
The slide area of our home-page should be short in height so more text is shown above the folder. A potential reference for the slider area is: http://web.archive.org/web/20130705…rands.com/ This is our website from 2013. We know it looks outdated now, but we loved how its slider looked like back then.
