I want the website to be extremely clean, minimalist and modern. I love the concept of Vertical Rhythm, and the natural beauty it provides just through the use of the appropriate sizing of elements. If it is at all possible, I want my design to implement a perfect Vertical Rhythm.
The logo at the moment is just the word ASSEMBLER in Roboto Black (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Roboto), which gives it a real sense of presence. The intention is to modify it however we want, e.g. there's no brand colours, sizes, styles or guides, we can do whatever we want with it, so long as it retains the font and the "impressive" scale I want it to create.
I absolutely love the sprinkling of colour on http://www.creativewallonia.be/, however I've also been toying with ideas of using transparent fonts, e.g. https://www.localwebdesignconsultan…design.png (TERRIBLE ugly example, but you see what I mean). I thought maybe ASSEMBLER, with a greyed out city scape transparent through the background, might look awesome... Although the more I look at it, a completely white page with the ASSEMBLER logo and a light spattering of coloured paint drops in the background would look even better.
I have provided wireframes for all 4 pages I need designed. I am happy for these to be altered, but I have detailed them as such because to help understand the information hierarchy, and to show you the various design elements I need created. None of the fonts / sizing / spacing / etc. are by any means set in stone. Don't feel that you're only allowed to apply a coat of paint - I am very open to ideas that keep the same basic order of items, but are creative in terms of design.
