How staffjam started their web page design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We’re focusing on a high-income demographic, where most visitors will be earning over $300,000 per year. The service will be a private investment club, so we’ll need some space to explain our offerings and why people should want to work with us. In the explanation further down the page, we’ll include some charts and graphs.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Accounting & Financial
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the web page?
Because we are aiming for a high income, older audience, we want the site to feel very upmarket, but without feeling over the top or gaudy. It should be clean and minimal, while still possessing an aesthetic of wealth and trust.
We’re just looking for a homepage at the moment. This will have a breakdown of our offering.
As for layout – we want a strong image that speaks of trust/professionalism/wealth, etc… We want a big headline and space for 2 lines of copy beneath it.
Then beneath this the page will split into 2 sections – the right hand side can be more narrow and will have a video and on the left will be well spaced out text with bullet points.
Further down the page, we will include short 1-3 paragraph long explanations, features, and benefits.
Is there anything that should be avoided?
We don’t want the page to appear ‘cheap’ or ‘childish’ – likewise, it shouldn’t be too tacky or gaudy like it’s forced. It needs to look elegant and trustworthy.
