mpacker31A got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Fun Iconic T-Shirt Design for Duke's bar
Check out mpacker31A's T-shirt contest…
The project is for fun iconic t-shirt for Duke's bar. This shirt would be sold year-round and is not for any particular event. (We just completed a contest for a Duke's Mardi Gras shirt.) Duke's is a party bar - it's the place to go for a wild, crazy good time. Duke's is also a sports bar - it's where fans go to watch St Louis Cardinals baseball, Blues hockey, American football. I do NOT want a design that has a bunch of tacky clip-art sports images or clip-art beer or drinking images. Original art and creativity is a must. Duke's is in the historic Soulard neighborhood of St Louis, Missouri. Soulard in St Louis is much like the famous French Quarter in New Orleans - it is a fun area to party & Duke's is one of the most popular bars in Soulard. Please take a good look at our website for your inspiration: www.dukesinsoulard.com Some designers have said that they are having difficulty coming up with a concept or theme for the design. I suggest you think about what would be a cool design that you would want to wear - something that says my bar is cool. It doesn't need to be complex or have a lot of different elements.
The Duke's logo is required. The logo can be modified slightly - for example it can be arched, etc. The "star" image (also provided) is OPTIONAL - you can use it in your design or you can ignore it and go in a completely different direction. (FYI this particular "star" image is commonly associated with the historic architecture of the Soulard neighborhood.) Above all, I want the design to convey that Duke's is the "spot" to go to party and have a great time!
