What makes Andrea such a great designer isn’t his obvious talent, skill, or intimate understanding of design — all of which he has in spades. It’s his ability to connect, communicate, and empathize with you and the vision you have for your project. I’m admittedly probably one the toughest clients Andrea’s ever worked with as I asked him to create a logo for an industry outside of his typical purview. I also deal with a fairly strong dose of OCD which made communicating what I wanted (or thought I wanted) especially difficult. Andrea met me and my flaws with compassion, understanding, and patience. He was tenacious with his approach to both helping me find what I was looking for, and explaining what works and what doesn’t from a design perspective. I’m a person that seeks to understand how things operate under the hood; I like to know the “why” behind things. And it’s an understatement to say that Andrea did not disappoint in his ability to target, break down, and explicate on certain principles that were entirely foreign to someone like me who has no background in design.
