SDR (abbreviation of Structural Design Resource) designs steel connections, framing, stairs, rails, etc.

The SDR has been constructed literally from scratch. Instead of modifying an existing font, this way I was able to arrive at a consistent and distinct look. The precise curves and sharp angles are reminiscent of bent/formed steel constructions and are obviously related to engineering in style - this alone carries the story and message behind the wordmark.
