Georgette Packaging is a design-focused business in Canada that manufactures packaging for small businesses. By packaging I mean cardboard boxes! Most packaging manufacturers are very fusty/crusty/dusty + old, and have no interest in lovely design, so it's important that our logo conveys that we are modern, and care about excellent design, but are not pretentious/fancier than the small businesses we aim to supply. We have a sense of heritage in the roots of our old-school industry, especially as a Canadian manufacturer of paper products, when so much manufacturing has left. We're very proud to be Canadian. My favorite design influences are Scandinavian, vintage American/Canadian, and Japanese. I love very simple designs with a lot of character, that are easy to read, clean, tidy, but bold. I am a big fan of illustration + interesting shapes used in logos, more than just font. Here's my Pinterest board for logo styles I like: http://www.pinterest.com/sarahlandstreet/logos/ And packaging too: http://www.pinterest.com/sarahlandstreet/packaging/ I hope this helps!
Logo types to explore
We make things like cardboard boxes for cupcakes; so the logo will be printed on the bottom of each box, and needs to be able to communicate very easily the name of the company (without writing website), so people can look it up + remember the name. It may be printed only in one color (depending on the box design) and so there must be a version that still looks good in monochrome. I'd also really love a version with colors. Lastly, I do a lot of photography so it's likely the logo will be used superimposed on photos, and must be legible in that setting too.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at MX$5,699.
