JeffPGZ got their new landing page design by running a design contest:
Long-Form Sales Page Design - Direct Response Designer Needed
Check out JeffPGZ's Landing page design contest…
We're a golf publishing company. We sell online golf training programs to golfers to help them improve their golf game and shoot better scores. Students get access to an online members area, where they can access their course and watch their training videos online.
This is a standard direct response long-form sales page. Our current sales pages are a little ugly, but they get results. We're looking for a designer who has experience designing these long-form sales pages, and can also make them look better than the ones we have now, to make the page look more credible and trustworthy.
Elements to include in the landing page
This is the sales copy that goes on the page: https://docs.google.com/document/d/19yC6-wg8tRBeT2W0ud1OV4XeIBYIKD4XdmNDcYfQY3k/edit?usp=sharing Here are a few of our "Sales Page Guidelines" to follow: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o2wmbtwhyhcwu0s/_Sales%20Page%20Design%20Guidelines.docx?dl=0 Dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8nrv752z7rusm4j/AAC_Y6V3wC-AxVxz0jgIjz8qa?dl=0 The Dropbox link above contains a few images and graphics that may be useful to you, and a few example sales pages that we've done in the past that have worked well. You'll also find an "Example Wireframe" PSD file that you can use as a page template. Please use the same header and footer design as you see in this file. And last, you'll find a file called, "Login Details." Please log in to the members area and take a look at the product we are selling. You will also need to grab screenshots of some of the videos to create the product images. Walkthrough Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsRvVUwQwKQ
*** WHO THIS PROJECT IS FOR: *** Do you love sales and marketing? Do you love designing landing page and sales pages that STOP people dead in their tracks, rope them in, and drive response? Do you understand how the layout of a landing page or sales page affects conversions? Do you know what the term, "call-to-action" means? Do you love seeing the RESULTS of your page layout and design in terms of conversion rates? We have LOTS of ongoing work for a qualified web designer who "gets" direct response marketing, and understands how to use page layout and design to get people to engage with a sales message. Our current sales pages are pretty "ugly" but they get results. However, with your experience, I know you'll be able to design pages that still get great results, and actually get us better results than we're getting now, because your design makes the page look more credible and trustworthy. We're using this initial job to find a designer who would like to work closely with us on a long-term basis, with a reliable and consistent supply of design work. If you have experience with direct response marketing, then you already know, words sell. That's why, in our business, the job of design is to support and amplify the sales message in 2 ways: #1) Your first job is to help the copy grab the prospect’s attention immediately when they land on the page. #2) Your second job is to convert that attention to readership and to help keep the prospect engaged and reading until he orders. This is done with strategic page layout, type styles, images, etc. Once you've done the design for desktop devices, you'll also need to convert this into a separate mobile design. So you'll need the ability to strategically alter the layout and deign elements with usability and conversion in mind. All of our pages are copy-driven. Which means there are lots of words on the page. This is known as a "long form" page. Many designers think these sales pages are "ugly". And some of them are. But YOU realize that there's a real art and highly in-demand skill in creating a page layout and design elements that drive people to buy. And YOU know that you can make our sales pages look (and convert) better than the ones we're currently using right now. And you get a real sense of satisfaction knowing that your layout and design gets RESULTS. If this sounds like YOU, then read on... *** PROJECT DETAILS: *** We're launching a new product called, "The Senior Swing Masterclass." This online training program teaches senior golfers a better way to swing the club to hit the ball further and with less joint pain. We're providing you with the copy, some relevant images, along with a few notes. You'll need to take this copy, and turn it into a long form sales page that gets people to buy. You'll need to design any graphics, icons, and product images needed. The final deliverables required are the PSD files for both the desktop and mobile design. I'm here to answer any questions you have! Thanks, Jeff
