Our email reaches over 60,000 and we're primarily focused on classroom teachers who have either 1) taken our courses or 2) are interested in introducing mindfulness in their classrooms and want to find more resources.
We call her: The Calm and Cool, Experienced Classroom Teacher
Our core educators are women, 35-45 and 45-55 years old.
Our teachers are in K-12 settings, but we'll focus on teachers who teach elementary school, a middle age range of students - ages 7-9 years old.
She’s a teacher by day, and a mom of elementary school kids and/or tweens by night.
She’s self-assured and calm and goes to yoga when she has time.
She’s creative and savvy; she’s on Pinterest and TeachersPayTeachers.
She loves Mindful Schools because we provide her with tools for her personal practice and for her classroom, and she’s inspired by the tiny sparks and transformations in her kids when she introduces new lessons.
She has a busy life and appreciates being able to find teaching resources in a snap.
She’s a leader and mentor and likes emails and resources that are easy to share.
She values the importance of “self-care” and understands how mindfulness plays a part in her overall well-being, but she has a hard time translating that to her peers, and especially younger teachers.
Our Tone: We’re creating a space that embraces curiosity, learning and discovery … for teachers. This learning space is refreshing, vibrant, inspirational, meaningful.
Please remember the environment we're focused on is: education and schools. There's something in your design that grounds it in the context of education - I could see that posted in a classroom, I could see that in a *cool* teacher's binder.
