I like the overall design as well as clever font work
While I do like the simplistic look of Gladwell's book covers, they don't jump at you when you are browsing in Amazon. I'm sure a balance between simplicity and emotion-evoking image can be achieved. Some other book covers I like: Made to Stick, Originals by Grant, Thinking Fast and Slow, Rework by Fried, The Undoing Project.
This book promises that anybody interested in learning data science can learn it and advance his or her career.
What to avoid
The total cost of stock images , if needed to purchase, should not exceed $50.
