I Love You Beautiful
Katie Bouvier was born in the southernmost state of Brazil, in a small town called Encantado, which means “enchanted.” Katie’s early life was, indeed, enchanted. Katie was raised to deeply consider her own impact on the world and her own surroundings while cultivating a sense of freedom She eventually went to University of Caxias do Sul, where she received her bachelor's degree in business/hotel management. Katie went on to work in the hospitality industry in Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro. After she went backpacking in Europe for two months, a trip that would change her life and teach her the importance of cultivating an existence that is free of regrets.
I decided to write I Love You, Beautiful to connect with the world and share the story of my personal search for love, as well as the unbelievable events that led me to find the kind of memorable “fairy tale” love that so many movies are centered around. My book features the love and adventures that I experienced in the eight years I spent with Greg, as well as the strength our love gave me to overcome the pain after he was gone. It's about how I found the love of my life, and a life to love after he was gone.
My book can touch many who are searching for true love, recovering from a devastating loss, and attempting to live an authentic life, without regrets.
Book cover type
I had a vision of a book cover that would place the heart rose in the middle or bottom half of the cover, and the title writen with the phrase "I Love You Beautiful" using the picture of the words written in the mirror. It's vital that both images are used because they are part of the story, as that rose bloomed that way in my garden of 22 bushes of roses my late husband planted for me. The love declaration appeared in the mirror of a hotel I stayed. Both pictures are untouched. I also thought of having the entire cover made in aqua colors (turquoise) with a wet background. Because people often describe me as having a bubbly personality and Greg was always the life of the party, I also thought of having tiny bubbles in the background.
What to avoid
Anything edgy. I envision the cover as something soothing to the readers eye, and heart, that will be inviting and make people curious.

Lillie did an excellent original design, then modified it according to some new ideas I had, and finally sent me all the files in every format I required. She was responsive and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
