“Mompreneurs” are an international force to be reckoned with. And while the term may be controversial in some circles – we agree there should be a “papapreneur” equivalent! – the power this breed of business guru wields can’t be denied. A whopping 46% of all privately owned businesses in the U.S. (nearly 9 million), for instance, are owned by women, a figure experts say will continue to surge. And many of these women are as familiar with dirty diapers as they are with spreadsheets. This Mother’s Day, we tip our hats to the fabulous moms around the world who are taking the business world by storm (while often helping other women in the process) and holding down the fort at home. We see them every day on 99designs, running contests for new logos, websites and more, and couldn’t be happier to offer them a resource to help turn their dreams into reality. Read on to learn a bit about five inspiring mompreneurs who’ve had branding help from 99designs. Know of any other great mompreneur designs out there? Post links in the comments!
