What's your vision?
We are looking for designs that will work with Google remarketing ads. But, we understand that it is nor easy telling a complex story within the dimensions of these ads. It may be necessary to do a full page Magazine ad first. Not sure how many sizes we can ask for in a contest like this but it is likely that the more different sized examples you give the better your chances to win this contest. Sizes - 250 x 250 square, 728 x 90 leaderboard, 300 x 250 inline rectangle, 336 x 280 large rectangle, 160 x 600 wide skyscraper. I guess we're open to flash or static, whatever will be more effective in campaign. Theme: The idea is that the advantage to using UNITS over traditional moving companies is that you get your UNIT dropped at your location, pack at your own pace, no stress, and call to have it picked up when you are ready to move it or when your house renovation project/repair is complete, move it back in at your own pace. No deadlines, no timetable. And no driving a big truck yourself. "Relax...it's yours as long as you need it" The idea here is to exaggerate how a family might get used to the UNIT in their driveway and use it for things other than storage because you can keep your UNIT as long as you want. Imagine a shot of a family having a fun summer day around a UNIT - Dad in a hammock inside of the entrance to the UNIT, Mom serving lemonade, kid jumping off of the UNIT into plastic pool. Show visually that the UNIT has been there for a while: -Ivy covering a third of it. -Snow - guy pulling a snow blower out of it to do driveway? -Man showing mother-in-law to her new apt. - Kid shooting hoops in driveway and hoop is fastened to top of UNIT. -Large dog house, find image of large dog behind cage and photoshop it into a UNIT on 30 degree angle so you can tell what it is. - Sports car pulling into it or out of it? Special climate controlled storage. -family hanging onto it and dragging their feet as it is taken away from house. A lot of people use UNITS when they are renovating their home. It allows them easy access to any items that may be in there. Image – nice large home with scaffolding all around it and in the driveway, a UNIT that the family is actually living in. Add some windows with a warm glow and a chimney with a little smoke coming out. Other ideas are welcomed!
The challenge here is probably working within the dimensions of the Google remarketing ads. Like I said, maybe we start with a full page design and then work to more simple layouts where copy is the main driver. We are also very open to tagline/slogan ideas for these ads.
