SAFETY SHOE FOR PPE BRAND - APE - Algama Protective Equipment

We are a wholesale distributor of industrial packaging supplies (stretch film, carton sealing tape, shrink wrap, plastic strapping etc) and a specialized PPE distributor. We represent PPE brands like Deltaplus and MCR Safety, but are currently launching our own in-house brand: Algama Protective Equipment (APE). This project is to design safety footwear for APE. We sell B2B to other companies in industry, construction, distribution, agriculture etc.

We are designing a safety shoe with protection against electrical hazards, toe impact, sole perforation and with waterproof leather. The shoe will be worn by workers in construction, manufacturing and various different kinds of industries. It is above all a work shoe, a safety shoe, but we want to create a design that is not just safe, but also visually appealing and attractive to the eye. This is part of our collection of safety gear under our brand APE (logo included in briefing). The same shoe will be manufactured in both black and brown leather. We will include pictures of some models in different brands, to provide a better idea of what we are looking for. Some things we want to include in our design are 1) some color (could be on the laces and eyelet for the laces, in the stitching, with the logo etc). 2) We want to include a small reflective band somewhere on the shoe. 3) It should be something sporty, yet sleek and elegant and something the user would want to wear even outside of their respective jobs because of the versatile style. 4)The only requirement we need to meet is that the sole needs to be based on the manufacturers sole (please see the sample image titled 'NAZCA', this is the same sole we need to use). Note: The NAZCA model (se attached image) is similar to what we originally wanted, but our manufacturer cannot make something too similar to this model due to copyright agreements with this brand. We can use it as inspiration, but it needs to look different. The amount of features, size, height etc of this model should also be used as a baseline because our budget is drawn from this model.

You can use these images as inspiration, but feel free to come up with original and interesting ideas. The only 'must' is the sole needs to be same as the NAZCA shoe in attachment and features shouldn't exceed the ones shown on this model for cost reasons.
